Here at Scope we are often most proud of the things we do outside of the clothing comapny. This could not be more true of the ongoing Occupy the Hood Boston Feed the Hood Campaign – a multi faceted effort to get quality food to people who need it. We made a video, not to big ourselves up, but to show people how easy it can be for anyone to have a tremendous direct impact on the lives of people in their community, with minimal money, time and effort.

Pretty dope right? So here’s how can you help:

1) Donate to the OTHB Feed the Hood Campaign Online – We used just over $100 to make and distribute all the food and more in the video. Just go to blackstonian.com/occupythehood and click “Donate” in the sidebar under the OTH logo.

2) Come out and support our Feed the Hood Fundraisers, Conscious Kulturez and Conscious Styles. For two consecutive fridays we will be gathering to enjoy some dope performances and music by Scope Artists and Fam, receiving information from community and youth activists and in general kicking it having a good time vibing out. Best of all – proceeds go to directly supporting the OTHB Feed the Hood. Both events are Suggested Donation but no one will be turned away. We will also be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items.
