Scope Urban Apparel, the Scope Artists and DJ Leah V have teamed up to present the first ever #ScopeTape – “Born on the First of U-Lie” – the Scope Tape Vol. 1 will feature original and exclusive tracks from Catch Wreck, Retrospek, George Watsky, UNO the Prophet, Anjuli Stars, Sweatshop, O.T.O, EvillDewer, Kairo, MeTaL, Pause, Illy Sav, Rey Leon, Cassius the 5th, KnowBodies, M30, High Key Music. The entire project is Hosted by DJ Leah V.
We stopped by UnRegular Radio for Beats Rhymes and Life last Thursday to debut the New project live on air with the Queen Bees of Boston Hip-Hop: Miss JayDee, Rosie Cakez and DJ Leah V. [PODCAST HERE] It was a full studio with visits from Catch Wreck and Dave Crespo of Sweatshop, UNO the Prophet, O.T.O, Spenda of Retrospek, Krash of True East Ent., TV Remi, Rey Leon, Teye Cheee of the KnowBodies and ScopeGang Jake and Lifes Good. The show was a lot of fun – BRL and Scope are kinda one big family so its hard to get that many of us in one space and NOT have a blast. This was the perfect way to introduce people to the Scope Tape and some of the people involved in making it happen and we are excited to be dropping this project in full soon.
As the final touches are being put on the full double-disc version, you can listen to the 6/28/12 BRL podcast which has the entire live of select tracks from the project and exclusive performances and interviews with scope artists.
