“Save Hip-Hop” is an anthem for a generation which grew up in an era of amazing innovation and creativity in music only to see hip-hop fall into the deepest depths of co-option and conformity. This verbal assault on the present state of affairs in the industry and underground speaks to a lack of integrity and artistry and tries to bring some of that spirit back.
